The ornamental tile decorated with a fine landscape motif presents auspicious clouds floating over tri-peak mountains and rocky peaks, and streams following between them. The painterly element is repeated in the tile of phoenix motif where a phoenix is surrounded by auspicious clouds hovering over scenic mountains. The bird is often compared with the phoenix perched on top of a divine peak decorating the lid of the Great Gilt-bronze Incense Burner of Baekje.
