Its front side displays nodes. The width becomes larger at both the top and the bottom than the middle. The entire front side contains two rows of patterns composed of short slanted lines and dotted lines. It has two knobs, one at the top and the other at the bottom, to hang the object, using a round twisted loop. It is not known what this object was used for. Researchers presume that it was a ritual utensil based on the engraved figure of a hand of a person in the middle part of one unearthed from Dongseo-ri, Yesan. Three objects with the similar appearance were unearthed from Goijeong-dong, Daejeon and Namseong-ri, Asan, respectively. They all display similar geometric design in patterns, but the ones unearthed from Namseong-ri, Asan contain the figure of deer, not the hand of a person.
